This service is based at 28 Cromwell Road, and is available, on an Open Access basis, to people in the local community who are experiencing / recovering from mental distress.There is disabled access to all aspects of this service.
The Resource Service provides a safe and supportive environment in which service users can find out about: mental health issues; opportunities for education, training and employment; information about community events; signposting to other organisations.Rugby Mind holds a library of information leaflets and booklets that service users can access, and offers to find out more specific information upon request.
We promote social inclusion and actively encourage service user empowerment.
Approachable support staff are on hand to offer assistance with finding information and internet access is available. Support staff will signpost service users to more appropriate services if Rugby Mind is unable to be of assistance with specific problems / queries. Light refreshments can be purchased at very reasonable prices. The Resource Service can be used as a meeting place for service users and if service users would like to start their own group then please contact us to hire a room. For reasons of health and safety, service users and visitors are asked to sign in when they arrive, and out again when they leave.Upon their initial visit, service users will be asked to provide emergency contact details and there is an opportunity for them to share other information with us. Welcome Packs that explain what the service offers are available in the Resource Reception area. Service users are encouraged to make suggestions about how best we could improve / extend our facilities, and for this purpose a Suggestion Box is situated in the main room and User Satisfaction / feedback forms are also available here.
