Situated in Bilton, this Day Centre provides services for older people with dementia and their Carers.

The main centre and office is in Bilton, with outreach centres at Overslade and Hillmorton. The day service is a caring place that offers support and a stimulating day to people with dementia. There is a staff team who, with the help of volunteers, provide a variety of activities focused on coping with short term memory loss, conversation, valuing the past, perception and anxiety. Our objective is to enable members to remain in their own homes through providing support that respects their individuality, wishes, needs and privacy. Members are invited to attend our day centres following a formal referral, an individual assessment of needs and a visit to the day centre.

Carers needs are carefully considered and respected and, through our day centres, Carers are able to gain some respite from their demanding role, and are offered advice and information about further support. We have a Carers Support Group that meets once a month, alternating between a coffee morning and a more formal meeting with a speaker. We also aim to be available on the end of a telephone to offer help, support or a "listening ear".

In addition we provide a free, basic chiropody service and offer access to a hairdressing service.
